Alpine Sanitary District and WIFA, Alpine, Arizona – Feasibility Study and Preliminary Engineering of Constructed Wetlands for Wastewater Treatment and Wildlife Habitat: Mr. Khan was the Project Manager for this wastewater reclamation project. As the Project Manager representing 4 Peaks, he assisted the Alpine Sanitary District in preparing a Feasibility Study to evaluate the most optimum location for a proposed new constructed wetlands to receive treated effluent wastewater for further polishing and creating a wildlife habitat. As part of the Feasibility Study, 4 Peaks evaluated onsite and offsite locations that will best suit the Districts’ needs. Upon completion of the Feasibility Study, Mr. Khan and 4 Peaks prepared Preliminary Engineering Report and conceptual design to facilitate the actual design and permitting for construction purposes. This project was classified as a Green Project and received funding from the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act of 2009. Show less

These sites included various brands of gasoline retail facilities, which included active and former Circle K, Union 76 and Exxon branded service stations.
