Cloud is as much a way of life as hardware and a way of existing! The key to understanding the cloud is understanding what and why you need it. The time you spend not knowing, I call this the time of unuseful cloud consciousness. This is when we see organizations wondering where to start, what project, and what end state. Once you have become conscious, you accelerate using and advancing cloud principles. Consciousness is achieved by doing one project, one conversion, and one "ah-ha moment" that changes your outlook forever! Start small and then become conscious and grow!

Find a mentor! - volunteer or partner on as many projects as possible (keep in mind quality over quantity) - build your portfolio - look for certs and courses that correlate to your portfolio - Write down exactly what you want, compare it to your resume, and if there is a gap....fill it!
