Activities and Societies: Radio Marketing Director (WSRN), Leader of Improv Group, Theater, Cartoonist for school newspaper (The Phoenix)
I studied English Literature and Art History, peppered with lots of Classics. I was DJ and Promotions Director at student radio station WFMU, cartoonist and contributor for student newspaper The Phoenix, founding member of recurring variety show dubbed "Cabaret," member of student improv comedy group Six Cents, and frequent rock skipper down at Crumb Creek. The honors workload ate my senior year.

AP Course level, founded an independent theater guild and put on Shakespeare performances, wrote and illustrated what I then called an underground newspaper, drew cartoons for school newspaper, and passed AP Calculus by painting a wall sized mural. Among other things.

PAHIC - Invest in PA Hemp
Creative lead on a really fun project funded by a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture. I was honored and humbled to meet and work with PA entrepreneurs, advocates and industrial hemp veterans and tell their stories. I got to do all the things I love the most: work for real change, interview interesting and driven stakeholders, research a fast-evolving space, write, direct and voice videos, create a social campaign, design logos and web pages, develop materials for startups…
Creative lead on a really fun project funded by a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture. I was honored and humbled to meet and work with PA entrepreneurs, advocates and industrial hemp veterans and tell their stories. I got to do all the things I love the most: work for real change, interview interesting and driven stakeholders, research a fast-evolving space, write, direct and voice videos, create a social campaign, design logos and web pages, develop materials for startups, travel to research institutions and farms, and boil down a dynamic ecosystem into a relatable and compelling narrative. When I came up with Pink Lipstick Lingerie in 2010, I did not foresee the SEO issue we were wading into with such a brand name. Short explanation: the brand name will never appear in top search results, especially on Amazon (a huge account), because the results from the $10bn cosmetics industry will always appear first. Our choice was to scrap a growing brand with year-over-year profit increase, or try another way to compete. I chose to double down on the brand name and push the iconoclastic…

Aside from product design and development, I directed all branding, concept, look and feel, model selection, location scouting, photo shoot, video, site design and UX, and digital marketing. I came up with the name, designed the logo, and wrote all the copy.
