All-In to Fight Cancer
All-In is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting our local cancer community. Our signature fundraising event is a yearly poker tournament. It’s a fun way to bring together anyone touched by this serious disease. Whether you attend the event in person or simply donate online, you bet we can beat cancer together.
Over the last ten years we’ve raised over $1,900,000. That money has been used to treat and care for child and adult cancer patients, conduct critical cancer research…All-In is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting our local cancer community. The Board of Visitors provides guidance to the college in the pursuit and maintenance of those principles and values set forth in the Statement of Purpose—found in the preamble to the College Constitution—by advising the chair of the Board of Trustees, the president of the college, and other college officials (see Board of Visitors Bylaws (PDF). Board members are nominated by alumni, friends, and staff of the college. New members are selected by a nominating committee.

I served as a Trustee for museum (www.mintmuseum.org). I served as Co-chair and, later, Chair of marketing and PR committee since 2007. During tenure, we restructured the board, built a new $50+ million museum, expanded collections, recruited and hired a new executive director.
Additional committee work included renaming, rebranding, positioning, marketing, as well as other communications issues.

- PresentFounded in 2010, All-In to Fight Cancer is a grassroots, nonprofit group dedicated to increasing public awareness and raising money to find a cure for cancer, by hosting Texas Hold'em tournaments. To date, we’ve raised over $1,000,000 to support the fight against cancer. We’re a NC 501(c)(3) organization.
