    Prothics Consulting - ISBN 9780982328750

In 2008, the global financial crisis affected almost all industries and business sectors. The economic meltdown left many companies in the history books, and others at the verge of collapse. Amazingly, some came out stronger and richer, and most important, never lost their glow, brand, or admiration. In 2008, the global financial crisis affected almost all industries and business sectors. The economic meltdown left many companies in the history books, and others at the verge of collapse. Amazingly, some came out stronger and richer, and most important, never lost their glow, brand, or admiration. What does Apple do differently to warrant these lengthy lines of people waiting in the winter cold to be the first to own a new gadget? How did Harley-Davidson create that bond between its hundreds of thousands of customers? How did the Korean giants LG and Samsung manage to pull in so much market share in the consumer electronics’ industry. What about Amazon, Nordstrom, and eBay—how can we interpret their phenomenal growth? How can we comprehend this type of loyalty to their brands and services?

In today’s business environment, customers are becoming less tolerant, quick to defect, effective at spreading the word about their discontent, and loyal only to excellence and value. In this book we convey the obvious; companies and businesses of all kinds will prosper when they focus on their customers. We explore a new business-customer interaction framework that would go beyond the corporate balance sheet, beyond lip service, into true customer value generation. The Customer Advocacy model is the collective culture, strategies, behaviors, skills, processes, tools, and metrics that businesses adopt in order to secure their long-term sustainability, profitability, and brand valuation by acting in the best interest of existing and prospective customers. In simple terms, customer advocacy is the defender of the rights of consumers and the conscience of corporations’ eternal financial hunger.

Today's top business executives are like celebrities; they are the rock stars of capitalism and a cornerstone of public life. Unfortunately, we tend to think that their leadership is infallible. We never account for the fact that they may err, they can be biased, and it is normal that they have weaknesses and desires that can possibly be malicious. Unfortunately, many corporate empires are falling, taking with them billions of dollars of workers' hard-earned savings. Corporate Dictatorship is…

Corporate Dictatorship is one of the first books to focus exclusively on the topic of dictatorship within organizations. The similarities among state leaders and many of today's corporate executives is intriguing: the way they manage their companies, treat their employees, communicate with investors, and deal with opposition and minority opinions. The book presents analysis and pragmatic governance ideas that prove that ethical leadership can simultaneously coexist with financial and market leadership.
