“Yoni co-founded the Cooperative Food Empowerment Directive. He has been the driving force behind its fiscal development. His ambitious character allows him to inspire others to action and is well paired with his pragmatic interest in business administration. He was largely responsible for building the financial foundation for CoFED. Yoni was successful in drawing in many stakeholders and in the process he developed a large initial donorbase that will enable the organization to scale up its activities into the future. His most apparent qualities are his passion and his level of commitment. These qualities enable him to gather energy for an idea and then follow through with implementing it. His passion and sustained enthusiasm is contagious. It provides support for others and ends up staving off their burnout. His steadfastness has been the crucial stability on which the organization’s foundation was built. Some of the skills I most admire in Yoni is his ability to speak publicly, specifically his ability to captivate and compel. His ability to communicate effectively stems from his ability to read people’s emotions and non-verbal cues. This ability allows him to be adaptive in many situation. His emotional intelligence stems from his constant introspection. His enthusiasm and love for life bleeds into his work. He ensures to make time for playing the guitar and creating an appealing culture around his work that engenders commitment and passion in those that become wrapped up in it. Yoni has put his energy and fire to great use, and the world is better because of it.”
