  • Brain MRI Analysis Using 3D CNN Models

    - Present

    - Researched multiple neural networks models and select 3D convolutional neural networks as our models.
    - Created 3D convolutional layers and performed them on cleaned sample data to compress features of the data.

  • Brand Extraction Project

    - Present

    - Scraped US trademark data and 8 million Thomas Reuters’ news title data and performed data cleaning using Python.
    - Performed Stanford NER Model to every data source to derive company name lists and integrate them into one.
    - Improved Stanford NER Model by building stopword lists to remove organizations and redundant suffixes.
    - Delivered a 15-minute presentation separately to the Dun & Bradstreet Analytics Team and the whole class.

  • Cable Company Analytics Using Python

    - Processed 3 GB data of TV show broadcasting information using pandas dataframe in Python.
    - Matched and merged the original data set with a demographic data set to perform analyses across different groups.
    - Built evaluation model to calculate the ROI of ad broadcasting campaigns and presented proposals to the client.

  • H1B Visa Application Analysis

    - Scraped H1B policy changes using Python and performed text mining on the data collected.
    - Collected and cleaned 2011-2016 LCA data, performed linear regression, and built basic machine learning models.
