“Zach and I worked on a couple of very different projects due to reorganization within the company. In the finance prediction project, we were switching from a key-value store to MySQL due to business requirement changes. Zach took the ownership of the migration, which included provisioning staging and production environments, upload existing data, and wiring up the client with the rest of the system. The migration was done very smoothly, with almost no interruption to our customers, and it's completed with documentation as well. In the other project we built banking solution for drivers in Brazil called OpenLoop. Zach focused on the backend systems for the onboarding process. It was a complex subsystem which involves identification verification, risk assessment, action-flow management and monitoring. Zach heavily engaged himself in communication with different teams and coordination of schedules and tasks. The project was done on time and was commended in several all-hands at the department and VP levels. Zach has clearly demonstrated that he is very versatile and strong engineer, not only in the core engineering, but also in documentation, communication and collaboration. He is the all-round guy you should not miss.”
