This is an AmeriCorps national service position. It is contingent on funding and open until filled. The National Wildlife Federation is a national nonprofit dedicated to protecting natural resources. We aim to connect people through wildlife preservation. Our programs develop community wildlife stewards through outreach, education, and activities. Regionally, we are focused on communities that have been historically underserved by our programs. The member will help us expand our impact through increased volunteer recruitment and training. The member will also use learning from past projects to plan focused and purposeful outreach and events. We anticipate interviewing in June. Monthly stipend amount: $2,276.

Member Duties : The AmeriCorps Member will build the project’s capacity by supporting our volunteer program. They will recruit and coordinate volunteers; facilitate volunteer training; design and implement community outreach efforts; plan educational opportunities and community events; and collect data on volunteer impact.
