Commitment to volunteer engagement in support of student learning and wellness
Must be familiar with Google suite
Responsibilities
Collaborate with Principal, educators, counselors and school staff to identify volunteer opportunities in your school, including remote opportunities;
Coordinate placement of in-person volunteers for weekly tutoring, enrichment or other supports, including remote tutoring and after school programs;
Maintain ongoing communications with the regular, weekly volunteers matched at your school;
Using shared spreadsheet, document volunteer data, including remote volunteer tutors;
Collaborate with Principal and District Volunteer Coordinator to identify, document and support existing community partner volunteer programs serving in your school;
Collaborate with Principal and District Volunteer Coordinator to develop systems for surveying educators for volunteer needs, impact on student learning and sharing best practices for engaging volunteers in your school;
Collaborate with school-based Liaison, PTA and District Volunteer Coordinator to promote volunteers and community service at your school through school newsletter, appreciation, volunteer spotlights and other school-based events.
