3D Designer

Fresh Products is seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented, and creative 3D designer to join its marketing team. The 3D designer is responsible for creating and maintaining product design, and sales/marketing support tools as directed, to increase sales and profitability. The 3D designer will work with members of the Marketing, R&D, Sales, Sales Support departments and others to ensure efficient design timelines and provide technical knowledge to team members. This role adheres to and promotes Fresh Products’ company values by performing respective duties in a manner that supports and contributes to the achievement of Fresh Products company’s goals.

This is a full-time position which will support our marketing department, reporting directly to the director of marketing. It is based at our facility in Perrysburg, Ohio. Job Responsibilities:

New Products / Creativity

• Convert new product ideas into 3D drawings, enabling manufacture of molds/tooling for production.
• Create renders and animations of products for use in development, marketing, operations and sales.
• Assist in improving and accelerating new product development and graphic design processes.
• Design graphics for packaging, marketing, etc.
• Create 3D prints based off designs for testing and product modeling.
• Must be creative, including the ability to review and analyze products with the goal of improving existing product and/or packaging designs.
• Other duties assigned based on abilities.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to work well in a team environment and successfully interact with other members of Marketing, R&D, Sales, Sales Support and the Leadership Team.
• Must possess good communication skills with the ability to communicate ideas clearly.
• Ability to accept constructive criticism well, organized and detail oriented.
• Able to draw effectively in 2D and convert the concepts into 3D to clearly illustrate how new products look and function with consideration of how it can be manufactured.

Required and Preferred Education and/or Experience:

The successful candidate must possess:

• 3-5 years of experience in the field.
• High level of proficiency with 3D software such as Fusion 360 or Inventor.
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• A minimum of a 2-year degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Preferred (but NOT required) bonus experience:

• Experienced in 3ds Max or other rendering/3D animation software.
• Experience with animation/video creation/editing using Premiere Pro, After Effects and Audition.
• Experience with 3D printing.
• Experience with WordPress.
