Job Summary: The Injury Prevention Academic Advisor will coordinate and facilitate the IHS Injury and Violence Prevention Fellowship and assist with academic reviews and revisions for the Injury Prevention Program courses.
Job Title: Injury Prevention Academic Advisor
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Location: Rockville, Maryland
Qualifications:
Knowledge of American Indian/Alaska Native culture and medicine
Expertise in community injury prevention and public health
Experience in teaching and curriculum development
Strong communication and organizational skills
Willingness to travel as required
Key Responsibilities:
Run the IHS Injury and Violence Prevention Fellowship
Travel for fellowship and project support to specified locations
Review and update fellowship curriculum
Schedule fellowship activities and ensure deadlines are met
Help Fellows complete their projects
Prepare and update training materials
