This role offers an opportunity to significantly impact our operational success by enhancing partner relationships and client satisfaction through strategic account management and partnership development. This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced account manager with affiliate marketing and publisher experience to play an important role with a dynamic small team in a fast-growing startup. The work can be performed fully remotely and on a part-time basis.


As a part-time Account Manager at Paylode, you will play a pivotal role in managing our clients and connecting them with the right strategic partners and affiliate offers. Your primary goal is to enhance client success through optimal use of our platform by facilitating partnerships with right-fit affiliate offers that align with the clients' audience demographic and ongoing initiatives. This involves understanding the needs of both clients and partners to ensure a successful engagement on both sides.

We believe that every company should provide additional value to their customers, and we are enabling this through our “no code” SaaS platform, which lets companies launch and manage a fantastic perks program in just a few clicks.


At the core of our platform is the Partnership Perks Marketplace, which today consists of over 900+ leading consumer brands that can be leveraged by companies (Paylode's Clients) to their existing customer base. Our software is a blessing for companies that want to partner with other brands in order to better serve their customers and add value to their existing service.


Paylode is an early-stage SaaS company, founded in 2020 and venture-backed by leading VC firms including Susa Ventures, Struck Capital, Day One Ventures among others. We are a team of 10 and work fully remotely.


Role Description:


As a part-time Account Manager at Paylode, you will play a pivotal role in managing our clients and connecting them with the right strategic partners and affiliate offers. Your primary goal is to enhance client success through optimal use of our platform by facilitating partnerships with right-fit affiliate offers that align with the clients' audience demographic and ongoing initiatives. This involves understanding the needs of both clients and partners to ensure a successful engagement on both sides.


This role entails a cross-functional set of responsibilities including:

  • Outbound Partnership Recruitment: Identify and recruit strategic partners, securing exclusive and best-of-web affiliate offers that align with client needs.
  • Inbound Partnership Processing: Manage incoming offers, coordinating with the VP for approvals and escalating potential partnerships.
  • Partnership Administration: Maintain and update the perk offers database, inputting new offers and modifying existing ones; analyzing partner performance data.
  • Client Account Management: Actively engage with clients to maximize their utilization of the platform, tailor the selection of perks to fit their specific needs and initiatives.
  • Client Administration: Keep client profiles updated in our CRM, coordinate communication including scheduling and conducting meetings, and manage email interactions.


Management Process:

  • Participate in weekly one-on-one meetings with the VP.
  • Maintain swift and effective communication with the VP and team members via Slack and email.


Performance Metrics:

  • Outbound Partner Recruitment: Effectiveness in acquiring new, high-quality partner offers.
  • Inbound Partner Evaluation and Processing: Efficiency in reviewing, responding to, and escalating partner offers.
  • Client and Partner Management: Proficiency in analyzing performance data and proactively managing both partnerships and client accounts.


Requirements: We value team members with an ownership mindset and work autonomously in a remote environment. We are a team of people who get work done in an energized, productive and positive way.

  • Fluent English speaker.
  • Resides within a US time zone (USA, Canada, Latin America).
  • At least 2 years of experience in affiliate marketing and account management, potentially within affiliate marketing agencies, marketing platforms, or affiliate networks.
  • Available to work 2-4 hours per day, up to 20 hours per week.
  • Ownership mindset with a proactive approach
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Clear understanding of performance marketing and affiliate marketing
  • Skills in account management, email marketing, affiliate marketing and campaign management
