Accounting Manager

Looking for an Accounting Manager to lead a team of 4 individuals in a high growth company

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and treasury functions.
• Develop and maintain accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions to ensure efficient use of company resources.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Coordinate and complete annual audits.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
• Evaluate and implement accounting software and systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to support overall company goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in accounting or financial management roles, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
• Experience with financial reporting requirements and audit processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, with advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with senior management and external stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, with a strong sense of urgency and commitment to meeting deadlines.
