JCW Search is currently partnered with a well-established real estate management firm based in Midtown Manhattan. This client is seeking candidates with experience in accounts receivable specifically pertaining to commercial and residential real estate. You'll be joining a dynamic accounting team and will lead and execute AR processes for the firm.
Day to day you will:
Partner with property accountants and AP clerks to ensure seamless accounting processes
Work with vendors to monitor arrears and provide the appropriate remittances
Partner with the bank's departments to ensure the A/R process flows efficiently and provides proper support for queries, resolving suspense items, and audit requests, such that accounting control objectives are achieved
Willingness to provide backup support for some daily functions within the department
To be successful you should have:
Total of 3+ years of real estate accounts receivable experience
Experience with Yardi or MRI (required)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products
