Applications Engineer
Introduction

This role sits within the DUV/EUV Applications Engineering team that is client specific to Intel. Your
scope includes analysis of large-scale data sets from metrology tool to characterize scanner imaging issues, enable scanner monitor metrology measurements to detect dose, imaging errors and how show how it will impact on product performance. You will do this in close collaboration with the customer, and often connected to the introduction of a new technology node for high volume manufacturing.

expertise roles, or project or management leadership roles.
Roles and responsibilities
• Participate and/or lead projects which are aimed at supporting our customer transition to a new
technology node or ramp up a specific technology node.
• Own workstreams within a larger project and able to develop and drive autonomously a project
plan and chase a successful execution with regular updates to relevant internal and external
stakeholders.
• Define (on-product) experiments and join customers in experimentation to ensure that they are
performed in an efficient manner for accuracy and demonstrate ASMLs product value.
• Define and conduct (on-product) data analysis to ensure that the correct conclusions are drawn
from customers acquired experimental data and results reported to ASML and customer.
• Translate a customer on-product issue into a potential lithography or metrology related problem
statement, resolve these issues to help them maximize the performance and use of ASML
products.
• Meet with internal and external customers to maintain two-way level of commitment to keep all
involved and affected parties informed of progress.
• Prepare technical presentations via PowerPoint.
• Working with product teams, and project team and account organizations locally and across the
US to drive demonstrated value into product solutions that meets customers’ requirements and
achieve tool-of-record configuration.
Education and experience
• Master's degree or PhD in a technical discipline or Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
combined with a minimum of 5 years' work experience.
• Minimum 6 months experience in data analysis using support software (MATLAB or Python or R)
is required.
• Minimum 6 months experience in data analysis and analyzing technical data to summarize and
present findings.
• Minimum 6 months experience with project management methodologies.

Chandler, US; Albuquerque, US; Hillsboro, US).
