Assistant Director of Property Management
Location: San Francisco, CA
Pay: $90,000 – 100,000 per year
Job Responsibilities:
Property Portfolio Management:
- Assist in the strategic planning and execution of property management activities.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of our real estate portfolio, ensuring compliance with local regulations and organizational policies.
Tenant Relations:
- Foster positive relationships with tenants, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
- Implement tenant retention strategies and initiatives to enhance the overall tenant experience.
Financial Management:
- Assist in budget development and management for property-related expenses.
- Monitor financial performance and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
Compliance and Regulations:
- Stay informed about local, state, and federal regulations affecting property management.
- Ensure properties adhere to all relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Reporting:
- Prepare regular reports on property performance, maintenance activities, and financial metrics for organizational leadership.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the property management team, other departments, and external stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management, or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of supervisory experience within property management
- Proven experience in affordable housing, including Tax Credit, HUD, Section 8, etc.
- Knowledge of affordable housing regulations and property laws.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
