AVP/VP Credit Loan Review

JCW is partnering with one of the largest commercial banks in New Jersey to fill an AVP/VP Loan Review Officer position. They are looking for somebody to work as a second line of defense and provide an independent assessment of credit risk through examining individual credits and portfolios. This individual can sit out of New Jersey or New York, and would be reporting in-office 3 days per week.

Day to day you will:

• Perform independent assessments of credit to determine quality of underwriting, administration, and problem loan management.
• Prepare detailed opinions through written/oral communications.
• Test for compliance to applicable federal laws/regulations

You should apply if you have:

• Comprehensive understanding of lending products, lending process, and loan review functions with a focus on commercial lending (CRE and C&I).
• 2+ Years of experience in Loan Review or Credit Review.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business related field is preferred.
