They are currently seeking a recently licensed attorney or an Attorney with 2-5 years of debtor experience, someone with a strong interest in bankruptcy law to join a dynamic team.
As a Bankruptcy Attorney you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of bankruptcy cases, representing individuals. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently licensed attorney to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills in a supportive and mentorship-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist senior attorneys in managing bankruptcy cases from inception to resolution.
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs related to bankruptcy proceedings.
Prepare and file bankruptcy petitions and related documents.
Represent clients in court hearings, creditor meetings, and negotiations.
Communicate with clients to provide updates and explain legal options and strategies.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and solutions.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Admitted to the State Bar of Georgia
Strong interest in bankruptcy law and a willingness to learn and grow in this field.
Excellent legal research and writing skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior internship or clerkship experience in bankruptcy law is a plus.
Familiarity with bankruptcy software and case management systems.
