TangoSAIC is a student dance club located at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. We specialize in teaching Argentine Tango, a social dance. Our club provides a welcoming and inclusive environment for students to learn and practice tango.
Role Description
This is a volunteer role for a Board Member at TangoSAIC. As a Board Member, you will be responsible for participating in meetings and decision-making processes, planning and organizing club events, managing club finances, and collaborating with other board members to support the club's goals and initiatives. This role is on-site and located in Chicago, IL.
Qualifications
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team
Experience in event planning and management
Knowledge and passion for Argentine Tango
Availability to attend regular board meetings and club events
Experience in volunteer or community involvement
Previous board or leadership experience is a plus
