Position Summary
The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Team within the Fiscal Department of The Massachusetts Trial Court is looking for Business Analyst II with at least two years of experience to support multiple project-based initiatives in support of financial model creation, financial analysis and reporting as well as the implementation of various Commonwealth systems. The position requires a balance of technical knowledge of infrastructure, deployments along with strong communication, reporting, analysis, project and task management.
Responsibilities
Creates data models, written reports and assessments
Drafts project updates and evaluations; presentations
Creates strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning and project risk assessment
Focuses on data integrity (past validation efforts, very large data sets)
Manages complex projects from design and development to production
Reviews requirements and updates plan project lifecycle deployment
Reviews resources and updates schedule for project implementation
Plans and schedules project deliverables, goals, milestones
Designs and maintain technical and project documentation
Identifies and solves project issues
Designs and updates relational databases, SQL, financial applications and governance documents
Identifies and solves project issues
Applies financial/accounting principles and best practices
Works with end users to gather and document requirements

Proficiency in the following MS Project, MS Office
