Business Continuity Analyst

JCW Group is currently working on a search for a Business Continuity Analyst with an international bank. This position will be hands on when it comes to monitoring and enhancing the business continuity and crisis management functions. This is a full-time opportunity based out of the firm's NYC location.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Business Champions on projects affecting branch resiliency and keep the business continuity team updated on progress.
• Support the administration of the branch’s business continuity program, ensuring components like Business Impact Analysis, Risk Assessment, and plans are current and effective.
• Organize and conduct business recovery tests and exercises (e.g., Tabletop Exercises, Work Area Recovery Site tests, Emergency Notification System Tests), and complete After Action Reports identifying issues and lessons learned.
• Develop schedules and materials for business continuity training and awareness to ensure staff proficiency in implementing continuity plans, and revise branch-wide policies, procedures, and manuals as needed.
• Prepare reports for executive management and the business continuity working group, manage content on the Business Continuity SharePoint site, and support the Crisis Management Team by preparing emergency communications, situational reports, and post-incident reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 3 - 5+ years of related experience in business continuity planning
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Professional designation – Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP, MBCI) is a plus.
