Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to understand the equipment landscape, labor issues, and pain points of crop producers and other stakeholders in various agriculture industries.
- Analyze competitor landscape and identify potential opportunities for differentiation.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product management) to define the core functionalities and features for the MVP.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the crop production process and the challenges associated with automation.
- Identify and qualify potential partners and customers for the MVP launch.
- Prepare and deliver presentations on the autonomous system to potential partners and customers.
- Develop and implement business development strategies to drive sales and adoption of the MVP.
- Participate in industry events and conferences to network and build relationships with potential customers and partners.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, product management, or a similar role.
- Proven experience in conducting market research and identifying business opportunities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in the agriculture industry.
- Understanding of autonomous systems (a plus)
- This work can be performed remotely.
