Cash & Collections Analyst
We are partnering with a Manufacturing company in search of a Cash & Collections Analyst to enrich their team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the organization's receivables to ensure timely payment of products provided by the company. This role plays a critical part in managing cash flow by handling the receivables process, including accurate invoicing, monitoring customer accounts, and securing payments promptly.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned customers, conducting regular calls to review Accounts Receivable and address any disputes or discrepancies.
  • Manage collection activities across multiple locations, offering support where necessary.
  • Monitor outstanding Accounts Receivable to ensure timely payments.
  • Address administrative issues promptly to achieve resolutions with customers.
  • Coordinate with the team regarding any potential order delays or holds.
  • Assess pending orders flagged by the system for credit risk and take appropriate actions.
  • Pursue collections on past due receivables.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, payment commitments, and relevant communications.
  • Reconcile account balances and manage specific credits/debits in collaboration with customers.
  • Utilize multiple ERP systems to apply and reconcile cash transactions daily.
  • Resolve discrepancies and reconcile short payments internally and externally.
  • Assist in preparing month-end reports.
  • Provide documentation for audit processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field is required.
  • 1+ years of relevant AR and Collections experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills including familiarity with VLOOKUP's and pivot tables.
  • Experience with various accounting software systems is preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamically evolving environment.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
