Cash & Collections Analyst We are partnering with a Manufacturing company in search of a Cash & Collections Analyst to enrich their team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the organization's receivables to ensure timely payment of products provided by the company. This role plays a critical part in managing cash flow by handling the receivables process, including accurate invoicing, monitoring customer accounts, and securing payments promptly.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned customers, conducting regular calls to review Accounts Receivable and address any disputes or discrepancies.
Manage collection activities across multiple locations, offering support where necessary.
Monitor outstanding Accounts Receivable to ensure timely payments.
Address administrative issues promptly to achieve resolutions with customers.
Coordinate with the team regarding any potential order delays or holds.
Assess pending orders flagged by the system for credit risk and take appropriate actions.
Pursue collections on past due receivables.
Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, payment commitments, and relevant communications.
Reconcile account balances and manage specific credits/debits in collaboration with customers.
Utilize multiple ERP systems to apply and reconcile cash transactions daily.
Resolve discrepancies and reconcile short payments internally and externally.
Assist in preparing month-end reports.
Provide documentation for audit processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field is required.
1+ years of relevant AR and Collections experience.
Advanced Excel skills including familiarity with VLOOKUP's and pivot tables.
Experience with various accounting software systems is preferred.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
