Chemistry Teacher

360 Talent Avenue is partnering with a faith-based private school committed to providing a holistic education that nurtures the intellectual, spiritual, and social development of their students. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join their faculty and inspire their students through engaging and rigorous instruction.

The Chemistry Teacher requires an enthusiastic educator who can deliver a comprehensive chemistry curriculum while integrating faith-based principles and fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Development & Instruction:
  • Develop and implement engaging and rigorous chemistry lesson plans that align with state standards and school curriculum.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  • Incorporate hands-on experiments, demonstrations, and technology to enhance learning experiences.
• Student Assessment & Support:
  • Assess and monitor student progress through tests, quizzes, lab reports, and other evaluative methods.
  • Provide regular feedback to students and parents regarding academic performance and behavior.
  • Offer additional support and tutoring for students who require extra help.
• Classroom Management:
  • Establish and maintain effective classroom management practices.
  • Create a safe, positive, and respectful learning environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
  • Promote positive behavior and conflict resolution skills among students.
• Faith Integration:
  • Integrate faith-based values and perspectives into the chemistry curriculum.
  • Serve as a role model for students, demonstrating Christian values in all interactions.
  • Participate in school activities, including chapel services, retreats, and community service projects.
• Professional Development:
  • Stay current with best practices in chemistry education and educational technology.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and collaborative planning sessions with colleagues.
  • Engage with parents, guardians, and the wider school community to support student learning and development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Valid teaching certification in MN
• Minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of chemistry concepts and laboratory procedures.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Ability to integrate faith-based values into the curriculum.
