Position Summary
The Senior Director of Financial Operations will play a critical role in shaping our financial future. This senior-level position requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in financial management, particularly within the healthcare sector. Reporting directly to senior management, the Director of Financial Operations will oversee all financial operations, provide strategic guidance, and lead our finance team.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership:
Develop and execute financial strategies to support organizational goals.
Provide strategic financial advice to senior management on planning, budgeting, and investment priorities.
Act as a liaison with external auditors and oversee audit preparations.
Evaluate and manage financial risks to ensure operational efficiency.
Financial Operations
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance.
Manage financial forecasting processes and financial reporting preparation.
Optimize banking relationships and cash management strategies.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
Team Leadership And Development
Lead and inspire the finance team to achieve excellence.
Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Mentor and support team members in their professional growth and development.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Financial Operations Director or CFO, preferably in healthcare.
Proficiency in NetSuite (minimum 3 years).
Strong leadership and team-building skills.
Expertise in financial management and accounting principles.
Excellent analytical and organizational abilities.
Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage complexity.
Education
MBA or equivalent required; CPA preferred.
