The Clinical Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of clinic operations and team management, ensuring adherence to policies and fostering efficient workflows. They lead a team of RN Case Managers, Clinic RNs, Medical Assistants, and other staff to deliver high-quality care to participants. Key responsibilities include data analysis for process improvement, compliance with care plans, and collaboration with medical practice leadership.
Essential Job Duties
Operate and maintain a high-performing, safe clinic with efficient workflows and clear protocols.
Recruit, mentor, and manage RN Case Managers, Clinic RNs, Medical Assistants, and other team members to foster engagement and optimal performance.
Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, making recommendations to enhance clinic operations.
Ensure accurate documentation and delivery of interventions as per participants' care plans, collaborating closely with medical providers and interdisciplinary team (IDT).
Lead clinical and nursing audits in coordination with Quality Improvement Director to ensure compliance and develop corrective action plans.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in nursing or healthcare field preferred; equivalent professional experience considered.
Current, unencumbered RN state license required.
Minimum of two (2) years overseeing operations in an ambulatory clinic or equivalent nurse leadership in a high-volume outpatient setting.
Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience with a frail or elderly population preferred.
