This position is to support the Precision Fires Line of Business at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control located in Arlington, Texas. Specifically, the role will support the Precision Fires Munitions team and take on other various roles and assignments.
The Candidate Will
Perform contracts management functions across the spectrum of actions associated with providing supplies and services. Lead cradle to grave Contract operations, from capture through proposal, negotiations, contract award, execution, closeouts, and all phases of contract administration.
Build effective relations with internal and external customers to influence favorable outcomes and secure win-win solutions.
Provide business advice and guidance to and coordinate with other functions including program management, finance, legal, subcontracts, business development, engineering, human resources, accounting, and compliance to effectively manage a breadth of responsibilities, including contract solicitations / capture, negotiations, and contract terms, including fulfillment of related obligations.
Serve as authorized, empowered representative for the Company as interface with Customer buying representatives responsible for building effective relationships and managing contracts to support business goals and objectives.
Coordinate solutions to contractual issues and customer concerns related to company performance.
Ensure contractual compliance with all laws and regulations, and adherence to Delegation of Authority and approval requirements for proposals and contractual actions.
Lead and support audits, as appropriate, with internal and external audit teams and agencies to support contract-related activities and verify compliance.
Ensure final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations.
May plan and participate in training of contract practices within Company. Collect contractual data and compiles reports in response to Corporate and Business Area-requests.
The position will require onsite work >50% of the time and occasional travel is required.
