Copy Editor-Part Time

Our client is looking to add a new copy editor to their team. This person will be editing educational materials geared toward student and adult learning. The documents will be focused on a wide range of technical subjects including engineering, computer science, algebra and biomedical sciences. This person should have experience with technical editing and be comfortable editing different topics. The documents will vary in sizes ranging from 100 - 3000 words. This will be a part time role that can be completed during or after business hours. However, this person should still be available for communication during normal business hours. They will be working independently so this person should be a self-starter with good time management and communication skills.

• Comfortable working with Microsoft Office and Google Suites
• Experience in technical editing
• Familiar editing in both APA and MLA formatting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be extremely well-organized and detail-oriented
• Part-Time Role; can work anywhere from 10-20 hours/week. Can be completed post business hours if necessary.
