Customer Program Manager, Semiconductor

Customer Program Manager is responsible for the execution of one or more projects under development by the customer from product concept to volume production and manages the day-to-day customer order fulfillment activities.


Responsibilities

  • Perform as liaison between the customer and the internal business team, managing the transfer of information and requests. Assure timely resolution of issues, keep the customer advised of the progress of the program, and negotiate changes, variations and solutions to issues.
  • Manage MT’s understanding of customer designs, product requirements, product development, and ensure MT will be part of customer’s product roadmap.
  • Coordinate with various functions within the company, including operations, procurement, supply chain, and quality managers to ensure customer requirements are handled appropriately, including but not limited to delivery/service, quality complaints, cost down roadmaps, quality roadmaps, price models, etc...
  • Coordinate material management between suppliers, internal machining, and customers to ensure lead-times are met.
  • Attend regular production and other meetings to coordinate information.
  • Support Technology team in related new product development projects and application engineering team with adjacent customer projects.
  • Establish project charter, plans and meetings to manage day-to-day and strategic activities.
  • Travel <20% domestically and internationally.


Basic Qualifications:

  • BS, MS or MBA in semiconductor related science, engineering or business fields.
  • 4+ years of semiconductor or industrial experience in program management, product management, applications engineering, process engineering, new product development.
  • Must work independently and in multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP certification.
  • Familiar with semiconductor OEM equipment, materials, processes, and quality requirements.
  • Experience in marketing and technical sales.
  • Experience in working globally with customers and internal teams.


Key Relationships:

  • Customers, key account managers, supply chain, operations, development engineers


Travel Requirements:

  • 10-15%


Working Conditions:

  • Office work with frequent interactions on manufacturing floor
