Job Description
The Data Entry Associate is responsible for gathering, organizing, and accurately entering alphabetic and numeric data from various source documents into our system for storage and processing.
Responsibilities
Gather, organize, and prepare source documents for data entry into the system database.
Review data for discrepancies, missing information, and resolve issues using standard procedures or escalating to team leaders.
Enter both alphabetic and numeric data accurately into the system database.
Verify entered data against original documents to ensure accuracy and correct any errors or duplications.
Follow established data program security procedures and practices at all times.
Perform routine database backups to ensure data security.
Assist with various clerical tasks such as sorting, filing, emailing, and proofreading as needed.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Minimum of 6 months related experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Experience in a medical office is preferred but not required.
