Job Description:

Spherion Mid Ohio, in partnership with The JM Smucker Company, is a seeking a Data Management Coordinator to assist the Smucker Sales Operations team in Orrville, Ohio. The Coordinator will serve as an expert resource for data related to product specifications . This position offers a hybrid work schedule with 75% work-from-home opportunity.

This position will begin as 6-month contract role with opportunity for extension or permanent hire. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain experience within a Fortune 500 organization.

In this role, you will support and assist internal sales teams and corporate customers in the areas of documentation, customer portal management, item/factory requests, QA requests, and master product data. You will manage product documentation and the sharing of that information. In this role, you will also work to maintain internal marketing and sales assets as well as other sales support projects as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage product data, databases, specifications, and assets
• Understand and research production specifications including packaging, ingredients, nutrition, facility documentation, and marketing claims
• Maintain GS1 product data and images in Riversand/Syndigo
• Work with Marketing and Content Syndication to manage Riversand/Syndigo data and system issues
• Manage asset database to ensure updated assets and correctly populate Riversand/Syndigo and customer data portals
• Maintain company data, product specifications, and product images in customer portals, including Sysco, FoodLogiQ, TraQtion, Share-ify, ReposiTrak, and SafetyChain
• Maintain a repository of updated facility and product documentation on The Grove
• Research specification, packaging, and nutrition information with Prodika/Oracle
• Navigate TraceGains to communicate with Co-packers and retrieve documentation
• Work with internal business partners and external customers to complete required product registrations
• Assist Sales Team to ensure Broker Teams have updated marketing assets and documentation
• Maintain FS1 with relevant marketing, sales, and product data for broker partners
• Function as a Sales Resource for Show Pad, assisting Marketing team with system and asset administration
• Function as a Sales Resource for accessing updated logos and product images on The Cart
• Additional duties and projects as assigned
  
  

Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Previous experience in Food Industry preferred, but not required
• Data entry, data analysis, and/or database management
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to organize information and prioritize tasks
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office 365
• Effective interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external partners
• Ability to learn and master multiple computer systems and customer portals
• Professional written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to display indirect leadership to assist corporate customers and Sales Team
  
  

Education:

Completed Bachelor's Degree is required

Compensation:

$24/hour (approximately $49,920 annually)

Contract Length/Permanent Hire Opportunity:

This position will begin as a 6 month contract role with possible extension up to 24 months and/or opportunity for permanent hire for the right candidate.

Schedule/Location:

This position is full time (40 hours/week), working Monday - Friday, approximately 8:00am-4:30pm. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with a 25% in-office requirement in the Orrville Smucker offices. You will have the opportunity to work remote and/or in the office at the Smucker Orrville campus - most likely 75% remote and 25% in the office.
