The Fort Lauderdale office of Fisher Phillips seeks to hire a litigation associate with 1 to 5 years of defense side litigation experience. More experienced attorneys applying would require at least some portable business. Qualified candidates will have experience with litigation matters from start to finish such as drafting and responding to pleadings, managing discovery, drafting and arguing motions, as well as taking and defending depositions, and participating in mediations and trials. Candidates with wage-hour litigation expertise and experience counseling and auditing clients on wage-hour compliance and government DOL investigations is a plus.


Although we would prefer that you have some experience in employment law, we are also interested in working with and developing talented attorneys who come to us with excellent skills in a high stakes defense-side litigation context. If you have substantive litigation experience and a demonstrated interest in labor and employment law, we invite you to apply.
