Job Description

The Global Talent Acquisition Director leads our worldwide recruitment efforts. As the Global TA Director, you will oversee the development and execution of our global talent acquisition strategy, ensuring alignment with our business objectives and growth plans. This role reports directly to the SVP, People, and involves collaborating closely with senior leadership and HR partners across various regions.

Desired locations include Chicago, Boston, and South Bend IN.

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement a global talent acquisition strategy aligned with the company's overall business goals and expansion plans.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of talent acquisition professionals globally.
  • Drive innovation in talent sourcing, recruitment processes, and employer branding initiatives to attract top-tier talent.

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
  • Implement metrics and analytics to measure recruitment effectiveness, optimize processes, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with global recruiting practices, laws, and regulations.

Relationship Management:

  • Partner with senior leadership to understand workforce needs and develop proactive recruitment strategies to address talent gaps.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors to support talent acquisition goals globally.
  • Collaborate with HR business partners and hiring managers to provide strategic guidance on talent acquisition best practices.

Employer Branding and Diversity Initiatives:

  • Drive employer branding initiatives to enhance the company's reputation as an employer of choice globally.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the recruitment process to foster a diverse and inclusive workforce.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience (10 plus years) in a senior leadership role within global talent acquisition, preferably in a multinational corporation.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing global recruitment strategies that support business objectives and drive organizational growth.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and geographies.
  • Experience managing and developing a geographically dispersed team of talent acquisition professionals.
  • In-depth knowledge of current trends, best practices, and technologies in talent acquisition and recruitment marketing.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field ideal; Master's degree preferred.

The expected base salary for this position is $125K - $180k. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus or commission tied to achieved results.
