e-Commerce Planning & Analysis-Sr. Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY: This position will support the Ecommerce business channel to achieve the financial success of the channel, including sales, inventory goals, margin targets, and merchandise category data. Additionally, the Senior Analyst will support efforts to grow our digital channel and enhance our customer experience. Responsibilities include monitoring channel sales, generating reporting, developing demand sales plans, identifying trends, and monitoring the timing and scope of seasonal changes and providing forecasts to address inventory needs. eCommerce is an active and collaborative partner with the Merchandise and Marketing groups in driving Helzberg’s digital business initiatives. The Senior Analyst will be proactive in identifying and reacting to departmental strengths and weaknesses by major sub-departments and classification. The Senior Analyst provides the team with actionable analysis and conclusions to maximize opportunities by product. This position works with and supports the Merchandise, Marketing, ePMO, Finance, Distribution Center and IT departments as needed to create and execute the eCommerce merchandise plans. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1. Develop, maintain, and grow merchandise category demand reporting and dashboards using enterprise BI tools, such as Tableau, while working with the merchandise team and leveraging the marketing and insights teams. 2. Measure demand category and sku effectiveness for OMNI and Online Only pricing and promotional offers. 3. Create and build ad hoc reporting for eCommerce functional and cross-functional teams, analyzing the business and making strategic recommendations. 4. Drive required item management data structure with Merchandising teams to support exceptional digital shopping experience. 5. Assist DVP with annual sales planning at the category level and required forecast updates in-season. 6. Support Merchandise and Planning teams by analyzing eCommerce inventory and drop ship assortment performance and their impact to Omni and eCommerce businesses. 7. Support the site experience team with on-going trend analyses of online merchandising strategies. 8. Collaborate with procurement and finance to manage and track eCommerce expense budget. 9. Engage with special cross-functional projects as required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: The incumbent does not have any direct reports. QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising or related field required.
• Four to six years of merchandising or planning and analysis experience required.
• Advanced Excel skills including the ability to work with pivot tables and formulas are required.
• Experience with Tableau is required.
• Must have strong project management skills and ability to complete projects on time.
• Strong problem-solving skills required, along with the ability to translate analytic data into strategic ideas.
• Excellent relationship building, communication and organizational skills required, with the ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment.
• Must be able to multi-task, be flexible, perform in fast-paced environment and maintain focus while anticipating and reacting to shifting priorities and changes in business.
• Hybrid schedule with predictable onsite attendance required three or more days per week to perform essential functions involving interactive behaviors with co-workers and managers, and direct interaction with internal and/or external customers.
