Job Description

Threat Tec, LLC is seeking a dedicated and skilled Educational Researcher for Digital Literacy Training Development to join our team. In this role, you will provide contractor support to the Prevention Force Modernization Proponent, Center for Initial Military Training (CIMT), TRADOC. You will utilize your knowledge of Army Professional Military Education (PME), School for Command Preparation (SCP), and Army Strategic Education Program (ASEP) to facilitate digital literacy training for Commanders.

Your primary responsibility will be to conduct research on validated and related educational content, making recommendations that will be used by Instructional Systems Designers to build effective instructional courseware for digital literacy training.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive research on educational methods, techniques, and strategies related to digital literacy training.
  • Analyze and interpret data to provide recommendations for instructional courseware development.
  • Utilize both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to gather and analyze data.
  • Design data collection forms and procedures for research projects.
  • Maintain and protect electronic databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Report findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
  • Communicate and present research findings to key stakeholders and management.
  • Participate in webinars, conferences, and other opportunities for sharing research findings.
  • Assist with data validation and complete some data entry tasks.
  • Ensure workload is prioritized and allocated effectively among the team.
  • Incorporate findings and recommendations of the 90-Day Independent Review Commission (IRC) on Sexual Assault in the Military into research efforts.

Qualifications

  • Graduate or Bachelor's Degree in a research-related or relevant field.
  • Proven experience in research, with 3-5 years in educational/curriculum research or relevant field.
  • Experienced utilizing datasets and quantitative and qualitative research techniques
  • Excellent teammate and collaborator.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Must be clearable/eligible to obtain security clearance.
