Electrical Test Engineer

Are you an experienced Test Engineer with a passion for electronics and a background in industrial manufacturing? This role is tailored for a dedicated professional eager to support production and enhance testing procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, build, and program functional test systems.
• Create, modify, and maintain board-specific testing procedures for production.
• Support manufacturing tools and systems for programmable devices.
• Provide test engineering development and support for production.
• Familiarize with customer-specific testing platforms to support diagnostics and fixture repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair general test equipment.
• Collect and analyze reject data to improve production yields.
• Understand analog and digital circuitry and read circuit schematics.
• Develop process documentation.

Required Education and Background:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering/Electronics or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, preferably in electronic assembly.

Position Requirements:

• Knowledge of electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, and computer programming.
• Expertise in board-level troubleshooting.
• Desirable experience with LabView, Visual Basic, and C+ software.
• Experience with VXI, PXI, and GPIB instrument interface systems is a plus.
• Understanding of PC architecture for embedded systems, including basic OS systems.
• Experience with Boundary Scan and ICT test platforms; Agilent experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with programmable memory devices and ability to support production programming.
• Proficiency in understanding component-level datasheets and part substitution considerations.
• Expertise in both analog and digital component design considerations.
