May Sands Montessori, a public charter school in Key West, Florida, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Lower Elementary (6-9) Lead Guide. This position is open to any Elementary Montessori certified educator, or an educator that is willing to learn how to teach in a Montessori Environment. The ideal candidate must also meet one of the following requirements:
Have a Florida or other state-issued teaching license
Have a certificate of eligibility through the State of Florida
Key Responsibilities
Lead a Lower Elementary classroom following the Montessori philosophy
Collaborate effectively with peers and administration
Maintain open lines of communication with families and colleagues
Foster an inclusive and respectful environment for all students
Valid teaching license or certificate of eligibility
