Job Summary

The Enterprise Technology Project Manager Senior manages multiple projects through all phases of the standard project lifecycle and/or SAFe portfolio work execution.

Standard project management responsibility includes planning, scope definition, design, execution, delivery with project team as well as external vendors and/or partners. SAFe portfolio work execution includes lean business case development, epic hypothesis development, coordinating multiple agile release trains (ARTs).

This role works to meet project objectives and provide effective communication between stakeholders.

Incumbent also leads the analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of projects which are strategic, extremely large, and complex.

Requirements

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in related field. In lieu of degree, five (5) years' non-clerical, relevant experience will be considered.

LICENSING/CERTIFICATION

PMP Certification required.

Safe Agilist (SA) or SAFe Practitioner (SP) preferred.

Experience

Minimum five (5) years' project management experience leading medium to large projects involving multiple key stakeholders. OR applicable Masters in related field with minimum three (3) years’ experience.

Advanced experience working with Project Management related software.

Knowledge of SAFe Agile methodology.

Knowledge of project management methodologies.

Essential Skills & Abilities

Proficiency working with MS Office Suite, such as Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe.

Strong organizational and analytical skills; must be able to set, execute and follow through on deadlines and deliverables.

Superior communication skills while developing and maintaining diplomatic rapport.

Ability to lead and work with cross-functional teams and work independently.

Ability to manage change.

Ability to present in a formal business setting.

Analyzes, measures, and monitors project performance using a variety of metrics and values while

communicating continuous status reports to stakeholders, management, and executive leadership., Collaborates with various functional areas, roles, and leadership to define scope of work, purpose, goals and objectives, timelines and resource requirements, status and deliverables., Facilitates participatory communication among stakeholders, leading and guiding the direction of the project., Leads the analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of projects which are strategic, extremely large and complex., Leads the design of new projects and programs by conducting an evaluation of existing business processes for the purposes of identifying and executing a project plan for improvement initiatives based on best practices, current and future needs of the business., Maintains project-related documentation repositories, records challenges and issues, and tracks deliverables and/or value delivery., Mentors others and will be required to make project-related decisions., Performs change management by tracking changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs (if applicable). Performs issue and risk management to minimize project issues and risks while aligning peer level stakeholders and developing strong cross-functional teams., Performs other duties as assigned.
