Entry Level AML Analyst
Robert Half is currently seeking entry level candidates with a Bachelor's degree in a legal or financial related field for a long term project with a leading Financial Institution in Washington, DC. This is a great opportunity for a 2023-2024 recent college graduate looking to kick-off their career! (Please note that training will be provided, and no prior AML experience is required).
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough investigations on alerts generated from transaction monitoring systems to identify unusual patterns or suspicious activity
- Follow-up on flagged transactions and conduct due diligence
- Document findings in a clear and concise manner for review
- Coordinate with other departments to collect information for customer due diligence and enhanced due diligence
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay up to date on new regulatory requirements in AML compliance
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in a legal or financial study highly preferred
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Strong technology skills
- Flexibility to work with rapidly changing priorities
- Ability to work in a production environment with Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player
