Job Summary
As the Environmental Health and Safety Manager, you will lead efforts to ensure safety and regulatory compliance across all locations and job sites. Your role includes:
Developing and managing EHS programs Conducting safety training and audits Investigating incidents and recommending preventative measures Ensuring environmental compliance Supporting EHS systems and programs
Essential Functions
Manage and exceed compliance with state and federal EHS regulations Oversee and conduct safety training (OSHA, EPA, etc.) Track and report safety incidents Communicate with injured workers, HR, and supervisors Conduct ergonomic evaluations and new hire orientation Support and improve EHS systems Collaborate with corporate teams on safety programs Ensure regulatory compliance through audits and inspections Manage Workers' Compensation and incident investigations Maintain knowledge of EHS regulations and provide expertise Drive safety awareness and culture change
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Science, Safety Engineering, or related field Professional EHS certification (e.g., CSP, ASP) 5-7 years of EHS experience Experience with EHS management systems (ISO 45001, ISO 14001) Strong background in occupational safety Independent and team player with strong documentation skills Problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills Ability to travel 40-50% and work irregular hours as needed Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
