We are looking for a highly motivated Equity Analyst to join the office of the CEO. This individual will have a particularly strong background in fundamental analysis, with expertise covering technology. They will be responsible for providing actionable insight to support trading strategies. They will do this by conducting in-depth research and analysis, leading to high-conviction investment proposals.
Responsibilities:
Fundamental Analysis: Conduct comprehensive fundamental analysis, including financial statement analysis, industry research, and competitive landscape assessments.
Financial Modeling: Build and maintain detailed financial models to forecast company performance and assess valuation.
Research Reports: Prepare detailed research reports and investment recommendations based on thorough analysis and evaluation of subject companies.
Event Monitoring: Continuously monitor market trends, news, and developments within the technology sector to identify potential investment opportunities and risks.
Presentations: Present research findings and investment ideas to the CEO clearly and concisely.
Investment Recommendations: Provide buy, hold, or sell recommendations based on fundamental analysis and market conditions.
Stay updated with the latest trends, innovations, and regulatory changes in the tech sector.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees (MBA, CFA) are a plus.
1-3 years of experience in equity research with a focus on tech.
Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Bloomberg, FactSet).
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and market trends.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
High attention to detail and accuracy in analysis and reporting.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
