Compensation

This position offers a base salary plus a commission based on event sales. Depending on sales performance, the total annual compensation typically ranges from $85,000 to $110,000.

Role Overview

As the Events Coordinator at Chotto Matte, you will be the mastermind behind our exceptional events. Your role is not just pivotal, but integral in creating memorable experiences that align with our brand's high standards of quality and service. You'll ensure every event is flawlessly executed, from initial planning to the final detail, making our guests' experiences truly unforgettable. This role reports directly to the Events Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of all events, ensuring seamless coordination and exceptional service.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and vision, turning ideas into reality.
• Oversee event logistics, including setup, staffing, and tear-down, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
• Work closely with the culinary and operations teams to deliver a cohesive experience.
• Anticipate and address any issues or special requests, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, continually seeking opportunities for improvement.
• Foster strong relationships with guests, vendors, and partners.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in event coordination, ideally within a high-volume, upscale environment.
• Previous experience in the restaurant industry is highly desirable.
• Superior time management skills.
• Highly motivated self-starter.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with a strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with guests and staff.
• Proficient in event management software, preferably Tripleseat.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  
  

Physical Demands

• Ability to move with agility, stand for extended periods, and bend as necessary.
• Occasional lifting and moving of items up to 15 lbs.
