Job Summary
The FIG Investment Banking Senior Analyst is integral to our team, providing sophisticated financial modeling, client support, and market analysis specifically tailored to banks, insurance companies, and other financial institutions. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, industry knowledge, and client engagement skills to support and lead high-stakes transactions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and create complex financial models to evaluate and execute mergers, acquisitions, and other financial transactions within the FIG sector.
- Prepare presentations and pitch books for client meetings, highlighting our advisory capabilities and strategic recommendations.
- Perform sector-specific research to support business development efforts and provide insights into market trends and opportunities.
- Collaborate with team members to manage deal processes, ensuring accurate and timely completion of transactions.
- Liaise with clients to gather critical financial data and discuss strategic objectives.
- Assist in the training and development of junior analysts, providing guidance on technical skills and industry knowledge.
- Monitor regulatory changes that impact the financial institutions sector and advise clients accordingly.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism and confidentiality in all client interactions and transactions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- 1-5 years of experience in investment banking or related sectors, preferably with a focus on financial institutions.
- Proven expertise in financial modeling and valuation techniques specific to FIG.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and familiar with other financial analysis software.
