What You'll Do
As a Finance Director or Actuary, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our Benefits and Protection (B&P) reporting capabilities. Collaborating across Workplace Benefits and Business Owner verticals, you will spearhead the development of efficient financial tools and comprehensive reporting systems. Your insights will directly contribute to strategic decision-making and competitive intelligence within the B&P sector.
Responsibilities
Lead the enhancement of B&P reporting to provide cohesive insights for senior management and internal stakeholders.
Implement cutting-edge financial reporting tools across B&P finance operations.
Support monthly and quarter-end reporting activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Drive customer-level financial reporting automation and insights.
Contribute to competitive analysis and industry surveys to enhance B&P market intelligence.
Collaborate on financial reporting development for the SMB Horizontal.
Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to senior management.
Who You Are
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Actuarial Science preferred, or equivalent experience.
8+ years of experience in actuarial or financial analysis roles, demonstrating strong financial acumen.
Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Strong technical proficiency in Excel VBA, PowerBI, SAS, Snowflake, Essbase, and programming languages (R, SQL, etc.) preferred.
Experience in change management and influencing stakeholders during periods of transformation.
Additional Details
Hiring Level: Open to candidates at Financial Director or Actuary levels, with consideration for Senior Financial Director or Senior Actuary I based on qualifications.
Salary Range: $137,000 - $185,000 per year, plus bonus potential and comprehensive benefits.
Time Off: Flexible Time Off (FTO) for vacation, personal time, and short-term illness.
Pension Eligibility: Yes
