Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain front-end applications using modern React (utilizing functional components, hooks, contexts, etc.) and TypeScript
• Collaborate closely with design and product teams to understand user needs and translate them into dynamic and engaging interfaces
• Author clear documentation for developed features, ensuring other developers and stakeholders understand system nuances
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize front-end systems
• Engage in rigorous testing of applications to ensure optimal functionality and user experience
• Collaborate with backend developers for seamless integration of APIs and other backend functionalities
• Stay updated with the latest developments in React and front-end development best practices
• Play a role in improving our codebase through code reviews and by suggesting newer, efficient practices
  
  

Required Skills / Abilities:

• 2-3+ years of experienced in modern (ES6+) JavaScript and TypeScript
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in React development
• Demonstrable experience with React, particularly with functional components, hooks, and contexts
• Experience with React testing libraries (Examples: Jest, react-testing-library, cypress, playwright)
• Solid communication skills, both written and spoken
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
• Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git
• Practical experience in test-driven development
