Job Description:


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fundraising Manager to lead our efforts in raising $100M for seed and Series A rounds for our portfolio companies. This role involves setting up Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), conducting due diligence, and securing capital from a diverse range of investors, including ultra-high-net-worth individuals, philanthropists, institutions, VCs, and family offices.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Fundraising Strategy and Execution:

  - Develop and implement fundraising strategies to achieve capital targets for seed and Series A rounds.

  - Identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with potential investors, including ultra-high-net-worth individuals, philanthropists, institutions, VCs, and family offices.

  - Prepare compelling investment pitches and materials tailored to different types of investors.


2. SPV Setup and Management:

  - Lead the establishment of SPVs for fundraising purposes.

  - Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and financial requirements during the setup and operation of SPVs.

  - Manage the administrative and financial aspects of SPVs.


3. Due Diligence:

  - Conduct thorough due diligence on portfolio companies to ensure they meet investment criteria.

  - Collaborate with portfolio companies to gather necessary information and documentation for due diligence processes.

  - Assess and mitigate potential risks associated with investments.


4. Investor Relations:

  - Maintain ongoing communication with investors, providing updates on portfolio company performance and investment opportunities.

  - Organize and attend investor meetings, presentations, and networking events.

  - Build and maintain a robust network of investors and industry contacts.


5. Market Analysis and Insights:

  - Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and emerging investment opportunities.

  - Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on market analysis to enhance fundraising efforts.


6. Reporting and Documentation:

  - Maintain detailed records of fundraising activities, investor interactions, and due diligence processes.

  - Prepare regular reports for senior management on fundraising progress, investor engagement, and market insights.


Qualifications:


- Proven track record in fundraising for seed and Series A rounds, preferably in the venture capital or private equity space.

- Experience in setting up and managing SPVs.

- Strong network of contacts within the ultra-high-net-worth, philanthropic, institutional, VC, and family office communities.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and persuade diverse audiences.

- Strong analytical and due diligence skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
