A property and casualty client is seeking a Head of Operations to oversee and optimize the operational activities of all lines of business. This transformational leader will manage projects, align overall company strategy and ensure the company meets its goals while providing the best possible service to customers. This is a retained search.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute the operational strategy for all lines of business, aligning with the company’s technology and overall goals and objectives.
Lead department heads and teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
Drive process improvements, standardization and best practices across all operational functions.
Collaborate with chief financial officer to establish budgets, forecasts and financial targets.
Implement initiatives to enhance the customer experience, streamline processes and optimize technology.
Identify operational inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
Lead efforts to improve workflows and enhance overall operational efficiency.
Requirements
10+ years of experience with increasing authority in an operations leadership role
Operations leadership experience in the healthcare industry (preferred)
Demonstrated experience implementing operational improvements, cost management and performance optimization
Proven experience driving transformational change to modernize the client experience through technology and systems
Knowledge of property and casualty insurance and retirement plans (preferred)
Bachelor’s degree
Advanced degree in business, operations management or related field (preferred)
