Position Summary: Seeking a highly analytical and skilled Economic Analyst with a strong background in healthcare and proficiency in SQL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing economic trends, healthcare costs, and financial data to provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct economic and financial analysis related to healthcare costs, pricing strategies, and reimbursement models.
Develop and maintain complex SQL databases for data analysis and reporting.
Utilize statistical software and SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide economic insights for business planning and strategy development.
Prepare and present reports to stakeholders on economic trends, forecasts, and recommendations.
Stay informed on healthcare regulations, policies, and market trends to ensure analyses are relevant and impactful.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in economics, Health Economics, Public Health, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in economic analysis within the healthcare industry.
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with statistical software (e.g., R, SAS).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
