The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing a variety of functions including employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Responsibilities
Offer guidance and support to employees on an ongoing basis
Oversee the performance appraisal and feedback process, assisting managers and employees in setting and achieving their goals
Address employee relations issues, such as complaints, disciplinary actions, and terminations, in a professional and timely manner
Administer and maintain employee records, payroll, benefits, and leave programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations
Develop and deliver training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
Provide advice and counsel to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures, ensuring their consistent and fair application
Stay updated on HR trends and best practices, recommending changes or improvements as necessary
Participate in HR projects and initiatives, collaborating with other departments and external partners
Safeguard all confidential information obtained on the job by properly using it, filing it, disposing of it, and discussing it only with those who have a legitimate business need to know.
Skills
Experience with ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, HRMS, About Time
Familiarity with Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration
Understanding of Compliance and Employee Relations.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist in a CPA or similar firm.
Proficient in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now.
Demonstrable knowledge and experience in ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode.
Experience with Ceridian, HRMS, and About Time software.
Familiarity with Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration.
Strong understanding and experience in Compliance and Employee Relations.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
Demonstrated ability to adhere to deadlines.
Proven track record of maintaining professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification is a plus.
